If I could give them 45 out of 5 stars I would. Best authentic Spanish food you can get around Bangor Pennsylvania and the whole slate belt! The people there are so sweet and quick and efficient. Definitely recommend coming here for some good Spanish food!
Nice place located in an alley, Had the brisket and cheese empanadas, flavor was okay, a little on the greasy side. But nice Latin offerings
The food is very good. I'm happy I found a Spanish restaurant in Bangor. People are friendly.
While they have a deli I've never gotten deli food. Why would you when there's empanadas and slow roasted meats (sweet chicken, spicy chicken, beef or pork) over Spanish rice and beans? This is a staple of our house where the portions are enough for two meals. Everything has always been perfect and the prices are super-reasonable.
Thank you, 512 Deli!! It has been almost two years of following you on Facebook. Around six hundredish days of gorgeous empanada, chicken, steak, pork, shrimp, brisket, sweet plantain pie, hoagie, Cuban sandwich, quesadilla, dessert and drink pictures. But today was finally the day. Going in with only one thing on my mind... the Cuban sandwich. Turns out today is Taco Tuesday, and Steak is on the lineup. My lunch companion is a huge chicken quesadilla fan. So, two steak tacos, a chicken quesadilla, yellow rice with red beans and meat, and some sweet plantain pie was our order. The red beans and rice were perfect. The yellow rice was fluffy, not dry, and it mixed well with the red beans. I'm not personally a quesadilla fan, but I was surprised after taking a bite, "that chicken is amazing," I exclaimed out loud. After just one bite of the steak tacos, I was taken aback by the freshness of ingredients. So fresh that I almost had to slap them. But the Sweet Plantain Pie was where it was at!! Perfecty seasoned ground beef resting beneath a sweet layer of mashed plantains, topped off with ooey gooey cheese!! Epic!!! The inside is quaint, with plenty of outside seating and some off-street parking. In my many years of visiting eating establishments, there is one true way to tell if the place is truly great. If the Borough/Township maintenance guys show up, you're in the right place. They were there, asking if tomorrow's line-up includes ribs. I'll be back for my Cuban Sandwich!!
Amazing food. Everything I've had there is great. This is a hidden gem. Don't ignore the subs/hoagies - best I've had anywhere and I've lived around philly my whole life.
Great food, Empanadas were amazing and tacos were as well. Staff was friendly and everyone in there was talking about the rest of their food and how great it is. Definitely will be back to check out the rest of the menu!
